The Nasoba District’s three towns held the first Tri-Town meeting of the school year in Lancaster on Oct. 6, looking ahead to some of the costs the towns should anticipate for the 2017/18 school budget. Vote Early with New Election Perk…Oct. 14, 2016

Until now, the advice to “vote early and often” was simply a political wisecrack. Now, the state makes that adage a lot less of a pun with its new early voting system. In Bolton, that means voters can cast their ballots for the Nov. 8 election as early as Oct. 24. The early voting option closes on Nov. 4.
Minuteman Building On Budget…Sept. 30, 2016

The Minuteman High School Building Committee held its first meeting since its district-wide election on Sept. 20 voted to approve borrowing to fund a new vocational high school. Though the battle to gain approval for the $145 million project went on for several years, the Building Committee was told not to expect more roadblocks to a new school.
