From the Editor’s Desk… July 11, 2014

Welcome to our Online Edition for July 11, 2014 and the first edition on!

There are still a few bugs to work out (such as the lack of photos on the home page), but I’m getting there.

As we stated in our last few papers, the summer schedule includes this week’s online-only edition and we will be back in print next week, July 18.

Our remaining summer print schedule is as follows:

July 25 –  no publication (breaking news only as needed on

August 1- Print edition

August 8- Print edition

August 15- no publication (breaking news only as needed on

August 22 -back on our regular print schedule through the fall.
We have most of the same sections online as we do in the print edition, so please be sure to click on all the categories to find news, features,  letters, calendar, classifieds (with a NEW online form!) and the police report.

Like many people, I enjoyed a Fourth of July week vacation. It was great to have a few days off.  Tim and I went camping at the top of a mountain in Vermont and later in the week I took my son and grandsons to the beach for a few days. It was great to breathe in  fresh mountain air and an ocean breeze in the same week.  But, now it’s  back to reality and work and thunderstorms…

<strong>We will see you back in print on July 18.</strong> Hope you are all enjoying your summer so far!
