The Bolton Town Common’s new pavilion will soon be a reality complete with electricity and in proximity to the existing Wifi system. The concrete base stood ready for construction this past week with rain pushing back the start of the project, originally set for Tuesday, Sept. 25. However, as it comes together, the construction project is expected to be quick.
“I expect the entire wood structure and roof to be complete three days after we start,” said Bolton Conservation Trust President Dan Gaffney. “We will then follow up with stone work on the pillars, power and lighting; then Melican Construction will do final grading, grass planting, etc. I hope to have the complete project done Nov. 1.”
