August 15, 2018 is the deadline to register to vote or change party enrollment for the State Primary on Tuesday, September 4, 2018.
Voters can easily register on-line or by mail. Go to the Secretary of State website at www.sec.state.ma.us and click on the On-line Voter Registration (OVR) system icon or download a mail in form. The mail-in form must be received by the local Town Clerk’s office or postmarked on or before August 15, 2018. Voter registration may also be done at the Town Clerk’s office during regular business hours.
Absentee Ballots for the State Primary are available at the Town Clerk’s Office. You may vote over the counter or request the ballot be mailed to you or a family member no later than Thursday, August 30 by 5 pm.
Screening Committee to Hire Bolton Fire Chief
The Bolton Board of Selectmen is forming a screening committee to review applications and conduct preliminary interviews for a full-time Fire Chief. The Board is seeking a citizen-at-large and a member of the business community to serve on this committee. If you are interested in serving, please submit a letter of interest to Linda Day, Town Secretary, Town Hall, 663 Main Street, Bolton, MA 01740 or via email at [email protected] by August 20, 2018.
