House Break Reported

On Aug. 1, a break-in was reported at a home on South Bolton Road. Police say the break occurred sometime between 5:30 a.m. and 6:20 p.m., and was discovered by the owner upon arrival home from work. Thieves took three safes containing firearms, as well as a number of miscellaneous items. Police Chief Warren Nelson told the Independent that there had to have been at least two people involved, as the safes were large and heavy, and that the thieves had to have used a large vehicle to carry the safes, such as a pickup truck, a van, or a U-Haul trailer. He asks that anyone with information call the station at 978-779-2276 or the anonymous tip line at 978-779-7808.
