PUBLIC VIEWINGS OF TOWN COMMON PROPOSALS
The Bolton Town Common Project Team will  be seeking public comment on the results of the recently-held charrette that included representatives from a wide range of stakeholder groups. The charrette will involve two workshops, between which members of the public will be asked to comment on alternative designs. Based on public comment and additional analysis, the preferred alternative will be selected, and a final design and cost estimate will be produced.

Members of the public are invited to view the various proposals in the Program Room at the Bolton Public Library during January and February. The results of the second workshop will be available on Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and on Feb. 24 and 26 from 3 to 8 p.m. For more information visit www.boltontowncommon.org.

EFFECTIVE PARENTING CLASSES
You are invited to participate in the Early Childhood STEP: “Systematic Training for Effective Parenting” Classes (ages 0-8). Classes will be on Monday nights February 23 – April 6 at Florence Sawyer Elementary School Library, 100 Mechanic St., Bolton, from 7pm to 9pm. Topics include:  Stages of development, understanding children’s behavior, listening and talking to your children, helping children learn to cooperate, building your child’s self esteem, discipline, and social-emotional IQ. HEALING GARDEN BENEFIT RESCHEDULED
The previously scheduled Healing Garden Benefit has been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 26, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Nashoba Valley Winery, 100 Wattaquadock Hill Rd. in Bolton.

‘PETER PAN ‘COMING TO NRHS
The students of Nashoba Regional High School Drama Society announce their spring musical, “Peter Pan,” which will have performances March 13-15 at the NRHS auditorium, 12 Green Rd. in Bolton.

Peter Pan is one of the most beloved and frequently performed family favorites of all time—a timeless Broadway classic musical that whisks the audience away to a place where dreams are born and no one ever grows up! The NRHS production will feature real flying by Nashoba Drama cast members, with “Flying by Foy” aerography.

SQUARE-FOOT GARDENING CLASS IN MAYNARD
The Assabet Village Food Cooperative will hold a Square-Foot Gardening Class on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 10 a.m. in Maynard. Participants can learn to grow all the food they need in just one 4 x 4-foot square garden bed! This gardening method uses 20 percent of the space, 10 percent of the water and 2 percent of the work of conventional gardening. JORDAN RICH TO APPEAR WITH CONCORD BAND
Boston radio personality Jordan Rich of WBZ will join the Concord Band for its Winter Concert at the Performing Arts Center, 51 Walden St. in Concord, on Saturday, March 7, at 8 p.m. The theme is Portraits. Rich will narrate Aaron Copland’s Lincoln Portrait and W. Francis McBeth’s Of Sailors and Whales. Other musical portraits chosen by Music Director James O’Dell.
