According to Bolton Halloween Parade and Party organizer Karen Regan, this year’s event hosted more participants than she’s seen in the ten years she’s been officially involved.  “What a great day…! That was the biggest parade we’ve ever hosted with 600-650 kids and 50 Trick or Treat spots!” Regan exclaimed on the Bolton Loco Facebook page, event co-hosts with Bolton Parks and Recereation. “The kids were awesome, and the costumes were amazing! Thank you to all the parents and adults who got into the spirit of Halloween. too!”

Regan had a lengthy list of thank-yous including her fellow Parks and Rec Committee members Joyce Sidopoulos, Linda Herbison and Laura Roberts. She also thanked the many volunteers from the town government, schools, Police, Fire/Rescue, students and community members who stepped up to create and carry out all of the different aspects of such a large undertaking and all of the Trick or Treat Lane participants and businesses that donated to the day.

The event culminated in the decorated  Emerson gym, with a party, refreshments and, of course, more candy.
