PARENTING PROGRAM
“Struggling for Power” will be the topic presented by Jeanine Fitzgerald, certified human behavior consultant and specialist, at the December Monthly Parenting Series sponsored by the Nashoba Community Partnership for Children. As children explore the world around them, nearly all will occasionally test boundaries and challenge authority because all children have a need for power. While most become more cooperative by age 3, some continually defy any attempt to discipline them and seemingly reject authority all together. This session provides insight into getting children to listen and respect authority figures in their lives. The program will be held Thursday, Dec. 1, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Florence Sawyer School library at 100 Mechanic St. in Bolton. For more information send email to [email protected] or call 978-779-2821, ext. 2041
