ROB’S RIDE FUNDRAISER
The Robert P. Publicover Memorial Fund will host a fundraising motorcycle ride Saturday, Aug. 27, starting from Colonial Candies, 47 Sugar Rd. at 10:30 a.m. The ride will go 60 miles around the Wachusett Reservoir with a full police escort and will end at the Marlborough Fish and Game Club, 1 Muddy Lane in Marlborough, culminating with a barbeque featuring live music and raffles that include a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a cash prize estimated at $3,000.
The Robert P. Publicover Memorial Fund is a nonprofit 501(C)3 charitable organization founded to honor and remember the life of 23-year-old Robert Publicover, a volunteer firefighter from Bolton who died in April 2015. The organization’s mission is to generate funds to support causes that were important to Rob. Proceeds from this year’s ride will be donated to the Bolton Fire Department.

CUB SCOUT KICK-OFF
The kick-off meeting for Bolton Cub Scouts will be Friday, Sept. 9, at 6 p.m. at the Schartner Farms’ Corn Maze. Registration information will be available for this year’s program. Any boy between the ages of 7 and 11 (first through fifth grade) may participate in the Cub Scouts. For more information, contact the Pack secretary at [email protected].

Gun Safety in the Home
When your children spend a night at your friend’s home would you consider asking – are their guns stored safely? Would your children tell you if they saw a gun in the open at their friend’s home?
Human Services and Safety and Chief Nelson are sponsoring a forum on gun safety in the home on Sept. 21 at the Public Safety Center from 7-9. All are invited especially your children.

PMC KIDS RIDE
The Bolton Pan-Mass Challenge Kids Ride will be held Sunday, Sept. 25, from noon to 2 p.m., at Florence Sawyer School, 100 Mechanic St. in Bolton. Riders choose from three bike routes for ages 2 to 14. There will be raffle prizes, face-painting, bike-decorating, free bike checkups by Landry’s Bicycles, music, food, ice cream and more. All donations fund cancer research and treatment at Dana Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund. There is a $10 registration fee and a $25 fundraising minimum. OCTOBER TOWN-WIDE YARD SALE
Sign up now to be part of the seventh annual Bolton Town-wide Yard Sale, planned for Saturday, Oct. 15.
